About Oded
Oded, a dedicated and brave soldier, sustained serious injuries while serving with unwavering commitment. He fought with true bravery, facing the harsh realities of the line of duty.
Now, he is on a challenging road to recovery, and I am turning to you, appealing for your support and generosity for the most crucial goal we have: Oded's recovery.
As a combat engineer in the IDF, Oded was among the first forces to enter Gaza. On November the second, he was seriously injured by a bullet fired by a Hamas sniper, resulting in a spinal cord injury and paralysis from the waist down.
Oded's treatment requires specialized care, and we have identified the Giusti Center in Florence, Italy, offering intensive motor rehabilitation programs that could be a transformative change in my son's life.
This letter aims to seek your support for a fundraising initiative dedicated to covering Oded's medical care, rehabilitation, and overall well-being. The associated costs for his treatment are substantial, and we believe that together, we can significantly impact his journey to recovery.
The required funds for Oded's treatment amount to USD 200,000, a sum beyond my capacity as a mother of four children who has taken time off from work to support Oded's recovery. I humbly appeal to you for help – to assist in rehabilitating my son, allowing him to lead an independent life, grow, marry, and have children.
